Starters

Main Courses

Locally produced  Beef Burger served with homemade potato wedges.

Veggie Burger (V)

served with homemade potato wedges.

Leek and Vegetable Pie (V)

Puff pastry slice filled with a selection of vegetables in a cheese sauce served with homemade potato wedges.

Jacket Potato (V)

Served with a choice of fillings.

 

Fresh salad bar is available with all options.

A meeting for parents and children has been held to answer any questions you have about the visit. If you have any more questions please contact school.

This years trip will be organised by Mrs. Gilbert, but led by Mrs. Gooder.

A money record card will be held in your child's class, You can send installments at any time in a labelled envelope to spread your payments. The card will be kept in school, but if you wish to see it at any time a photocopy can be sent home.

Below are some details about your child's trip.

Please be aware of the location of the Youth Hostel incase you need to collect your child early.

If you need to contact us while we are on the trip please telephone school during open hours, and the Youth Hostel in the evening.

Itinerary

Tuesday 27th April

Leave luggage outside of school if the weather is nice, and register in the school hall.

Depart School, and leave luggage at Castleton YHA.

11am Visit to Peveril castle. Please provide a packed lunch from school/ home.

12.30 Meet YHA Staff and begin activities.

          An itinery is yet to be finalised, but will involve panning for gold,                      fossil hunting and role play.

Wednesday 28th April

3 Rocks Walk.

12.30 Picnic at Treak Cliff Cavern. £3 pocket money can be brought.

Depart for school.
