Do you want to the opportunity to become involved in school life? We are an active group of parents, staff and other supporters which organises fund raising and social activities and also provides help around school. New members are always welcome! Why not come along to the meetings, and share your ideas? Offers of support, and help to support activities are greatly appreciated.

What FOCUS does:

We raise money for the children of Upperwood School to enhance their learning / school experience.

What FOCUS has done:

Discos, Book Fairs, Christmas Coffee Mornings, Sports Day, Summer Fayres.

What FOCUS Spend the monies raised on:

Expochef, Subsidising the Year 6 Bowling Trip, Christmas Entertainer, other projects as and when they arise.

Want to help?

If you have any free time, we need volunteers for all the events above we are involved in.

Meetings take place on a Thursday after school usually once a term, more if required (3.15pm to 4.00pm approx).

If you feel you can help but are unable to attend meetings, please let a member of the FOCUS team know and we will ensure meeting notes are passed on to you.

We are always looking for ways of raising monies for the school / children, so if you have any ideas please let us know. One item that the teachers have on a wish list is to have 'Rainy Day' toys / games for each class, we are currently trying to set some funds aside for this.
